TWO BLACK BOYS IN PARADISE
I am happy to announce that I will shortly begin work on my next film project in affiliation with Picturesonix and in collaboration with One6th Animation, to compose the soundtrack and provide all elements of the audio post-production.
The guys over at One6th have been working long and hard to get this fantastic animation project off the ground, backed and funded by the British Film Institute (BFI) and Partizan Production Studios. The film received both a contribution and an endorsement from the legendary Sir Ian McKellen. Jordan Stephens from Rizzle Kicks will provide the voice-over of a poem by Dean Atta, on which the film is based.
LOVE IS A DANGEROUS GAME
I will be spending the next few weeks crafting the music and sound design for this delightful sci-fi short film directed by James Brown from the Mill animation studios in London who produced the film utilising Unreal Engine technology.
The film is both beautifully crafted, charming and funny and i cannot wait to get to work

I was blessed recently to be asked to be interviewed for The Northern Film Orchestra's Composer Spotlight. I sat down with Jack Hughes, who heads up the organisation and had a wonderful discussion about the difference between using real musicians vs samples and the pros and cons of being a composer in the modern age.

Since finishing the audio post-production on SQUIB as part of Picturesonix, it has been great to hear about all of the project's success stories thus far. Initially created for the Bradford Literature Festival, it has since gone on to be picked up by 13 film festivals, picking up the win at The Motion Picture International Film Festival and a Best Production Design Nomination.

THE GET TO KNOW PODCAST

HITCHED ON THE ASTRAL PODCAST

Astrologist Lucy Porter asked me to come on board series 2 of her astrology podcast Hitched on the Astral, as an audio editor, sound designer and mix engineer. I was given the green light to be creative with the sound design and make the episodes sound astrological and other worldly.
Lucy explores the effectiveness of matchmaking through natal astrology.

Was a joy to be a part of the recording sessions for Carter West Creatives, Elton John Tribute Tour Project entitled THIS ONE'S FOR YOU. Acting as one of the recording engineers on the session preparations and recording day itself as part of Picturesonix.

BUDAPEST SCORING PROJECT
I am currently in the midst of writing 3 pieces for a full orchestral line-up, in the hopes to record them with The Budapest Scoring Orchestra, at the beginning of 2023.
Each piece will be a film score suite, each testing my ability to compose for different genres and styles.
MENTORSHIP
In the lead-up to my planned recording sessions with Budapest Scoring next year, I reached out to the exceptionally talented Mr Ben Palmer to request mentoring, in an attempt to have him help checkpoint my progress and provide guidance throughout. Ben is the Chief Conductor of the Deutsche Philharmonie Merck in Darmstadt, Founder and Artistic Director of Covent Garden Sinfonia, one of London’s most innovative and dynamic chamber orchestras, and, from January 2022, Chief Conductor of the Babylon Orchester Berlin.
